Going

We believe each Christ-follower is called by God to be a missionary for Jesus. This means individuals and families are to serve and witness for Jesus as they have opportunity through the course of normal life. Also, we are called to help make disciples of Jesus in our family, in our church, in our community, and to the ends of the earth.

One specific way that North Park embraces "going" as missionaries is through partnerships with local ministries in Fort Wayne. In addition to serving people within our church family, here are three of the local ministries we partner with at this time. Please contact us if you would like to get involved.

A Hope Center is a Christian ministry organization that offers crisis pregnancy assistance and counseling, pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, family and parenting classes, as well as post-abortion counseling.

The Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry organization whose mission is to provide, through the power of Jesus Christ, a home for the homeless, food for the hungry, and hope for their future.

The Blessed Portion Ministries is a Christian ministry organization whose aim is to help meet the spiritual and tangible needs of the homeless by being the hands and feet of Christ to those in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Sending

We believe North Park is called by God to support and send individuals, families, and groups to serve and witness for Jesus locally, regionally, and internationally. This includes supporting people as they serve as short-term and full-term missionaries on our behalf.

One specific way that North Park embraces "sending" missionaries is by partnering with church planting missionaries all around the world (Spain, France, South Africa, Thailand, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Papua New Guinea). We also have members who regularly participate in short-term missions trips and partnerships with various world mission efforts.

If you are a missionary interested in partnering with North Park, please contact us.
